Welcome to NI Physical Therapy & Wellness, Now Known As FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers,
for Physical Therapy in South Chicago
NI Physical Therapy & Wellness, now known as FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, is a private practice facility that provides comprehensive rehabilitative services and alternative fitness training, utilizing a holistic approach through manual orthopedic physical therapy, integrative therapeutics and personalized wellness classes that include Pilates, yoga, tai chi, natural sculpt and/or personal training.
Physical Therapy is offered to individuals seeking rehabilitation from a specific medical diagnosis. The initial physical therapy consultation session consists of a thorough assessment to determine where the concerns are, setting goals and developing a feasible plan to accomplish those goals. Following this comprehensive evaluation, the physical therapist and the client become partners in the rehabilitation process. We accept Medicare and most private pay insurances.
Specialization is in manual orthopedic physical therapy (hands on), including, but not limited to myofascial release, deep tissue release, muscle energy and soft tissue mobilization techniques. NI Physical Therapy, now known as FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, specializes in back pain. The use of specific “core” strengthening and stretching components of Pilates along with yoga concepts of deep breathing and relaxation are also incorporated. In addition, we also provide pre-op rehab, treat sports injuries and dance injuries, Workman’s Compensation, Work Conditioning, and Functional Capacity Exams (FCE’s) for those individuals injured on their jobs. We also provide free consultations.
The ultimate goal is to pinpoint and address the source of the injury in order to avoid reoccurrence, and restore normal movement. We provide insight that promotes body awareness and encourages an ongoing lifestyle of health, peace and wellbeing!
We support our community and participate in charitable giving to various organizations, including the Beverly Area Planning Association, A New Direction Beverly Morgan Park, and Chicago Public Schools.
